The Big Bang Theory actor will return in the final episode of the spin-off together with Mayim Bialik, the interpreter of Amy.
Young Sheldon was able to count on not one but two Sheldons to launch the TikTok page dedicated to the series. Jim Parsons And Iain Armitagerespectively playing the adult Sheldon Cooper in The Big Bang Theory and that boy in the prequel spin-off, they found themselves in a fun video where they had fun playing with a “new filter”.

In the video, published on Young Sheldon’s official TikTok page, the two Sheldons pass the baton to each other by pretending to experiment with one of the many filters that have been popular on social media lately, the one that shows how a person will age. “It looks like there’s a new filter that shows you what you’ll be like when you grow up. I don’t know how accurate it is, but I’ll try,” Armitage says in the video before tapping on the screen. As a result, Jim Parsons, the adult Sheldon, appears and quips: “Mhh, I’m not sure. Oh, it changes your voice too… I don’t like it!”, giving us a Sheldon Cooper-style moment. Watch it below.

Young Sheldon: The Return of Jim Parsons
As we know, Parsons will reprise his role as Sheldon Cooper on screen in the series finale of Young Sheldon. He will also be there with him Mayim Bialik, interpreter of Amy Farrah Fowler. The two will return to act alongside each other exactly five years after the airing of the finale of The Big Bang Theory and it will be the first time an actor from the parent series will appear in the prequel spin-off in person. Parsons, in fact, in recent years has participated only as narrator of the story while Bialik has joined him as co-narrator in two episodes. Naturally the details of their cameos are top secret, in order to – possibly – surprise the spectators. In the United States, on CBS, the finale of Young Sheldon will be broadcast on May 16th while in Italy the final season will soon be streaming on various platforms and on Mediaset networks.
