After the unblocking of 110 works at the beginning of March, the progress of public reconstruction in the Marche region continues with a further transfer of 9 million euros for another 30 works. The commissioner for 2016 Earthquake Repair and Reconstruction Guido Castelli signed the decree, which assigns resources to the Special Reconstruction Office. “We continue with the work set out since the beginning of my mandate to ensure that reconstruction, in particular the public sector, does not remain stranded in the difficulties linked to the increase in prices and the introduction of the new Procurement Code – underlines Commissioner Castelli -. We have chosen to actively support the territories and the implementing bodies, working side by side with the President of the Region, with the USR Marche and with the Municipalities. The result is the start of 80% of the procedures of the Public Works Plan, which continue to move forward”
In the province of Ascoli Piceno, the transfer concerns the progress of the civic cemetery in Spinetoli (750 thousand euros) and for the block of niches in the cemetery of Pianaccerro, a hamlet of Ascoli Piceno (50 thousand euros).
