Evening dedicated to the real estate sector, organized on Tuesday by the Rotary Club of Terni chaired by Francesco Montalbano Caracci. Special guest, the lawyer Giorgio Spaziani Testa, national president of Confedilizia and practically daily guest of all the major Italian television publications, as well as an authoritative commentator in many national newspapers. Known as ‘the house advocate’, he entertained numerous Rotarians and guests on the topic ‘Is Property Under Attack? Assets, green homes, rentals’. Present at the meeting were the prefect of Terni Giovanni Bruno and the councilor for budget and culture of the Municipality of Terni, Michela Bordoni. Giorgio Spaziani Testa has been president of Confedilizia since 2015, after having been its general secretary since 2011. He is the author of numerous articles in legal journals, in particular on tax law. Scientific director of the magazine ‘Archivio delle locazioni, del condominium e dell’immobiliare’, he is one of the leading Italian experts on the subject of real estate taxation and European directives on real estate. During the Rotarian evening he addressed many issues relating to the real estate sector, from the debate on the European ‘Green Homes’ directive to the issue of short-term rentals, from the problems connected to the tax reform to those of property taxation, to name just some of the issues addressed. A very well-attended evening in which numerous local entrepreneurs and the heads of sector associations also took part.
