The Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Matteo Salvini, has announced new investments in roads, also in Sassari. In particular, there are plans to 1.34 billion for works under construction including the SS 131 Carlo Felice, while two lots from km 192 to km 209+500 are in the planning phase. Other funds are allocated to the SS 729 Sassari-Olbia.

In all, investments date back to 4.83 billion euros for new works and scheduled maintenance of roads. This is what was allocated in the Anas program contract for Sardinia and therefore to improve the infrastructure of the territory. In addition to the milestones for the SS 131 Carlo Felice, where more interventions are underway in the various tradesthere are two lots from km 192 to km 209+500 in the planning phase.

The other interventions concern the SS199 e SS 729 Sassari-Olbia. Those for the eastern Sardinian SS 125 and the Sulcitana SS 195 are also scheduled. Another 2.7 billion goes to the design of new works and finally over 760 million for maintenance. “We work to solve the mobility problems of Sardinians and we are ready to respond to the needs of the territory, after decades of too many Nos”, said the deputy prime minister and minister Matteo Salvini.
