The Integrity Tour stops in Bolzano

The Integrity Tour stopped at the FCS Center in Maso Ronco. The sports centerFC Südtirol which opened its doors to the project “Football is not just a game”. This is the name of the training initiative promoted by League B and AICcreated together with the Ministry of the Interior, through the Central Criminal Police Directorate of the Department of Public Security, to provide support to cadet clubs on issues related to the phenomenon of fraud in sports competitions to combat match fixing.

Players, staff and managers of the first team first and then those of the Primavera 2 and Under 17, explored the issues of ethics and respect for the rules to safeguard the world of football and sport in general from polluting conduct, underlining the value of sound founding principles, highlighting the seriousness of the match fixing phenomenon and the duty to guarantee the smooth running of competitions.

Risks, dangers and consequences were illustrated, warning against the so-called “fixers”, criminals who try to involve footballers in sports scams by any means possible. The problems linked to betting violations and the correct methods of use of social media by footballers were underlined, informed about what the actual risks are, to protect not only the general system, but also the lives and careers of individual members, avoiding the possible abyss, personal and professional.
