PALERMO – Demonstration against the thefts suffered in the Domenico Scinà school, in Palermo. Students, teachers, families and the principal demonstrated in front of the school gates after three thefts in a week which deprived the students of their musical instruments and sound system.

The protest took place in front of the schoolin via Li Bassi, with several banners and the clang of pots and pans.

“We are here to give a strong signal to the institutions – says Francesco Trapani, president of the school council -. We are in favor of the school and the future of these children. We must be more united than ever. Our children have the right to study, to music and to do what children of their age do.”

For the school counselor, Cinzia Mazzola, “i Boysdue to Covid and the continuous changes at management level, they suffered a lot. They were out of this world. Now the school is flourishing again. They have returned to doing activities and trips.”

A constant commitment thanks also to the commitment of director Maria Gabriella Martorana who in recent months has focused on the relaunch of the school.
