COSENZA – The Provincial Council of Cosenza, meeting this morning in the Institution’s Meeting Room, unanimously approved the appointment of the new council commissions following the renewal of the members of the Provincial Council after the elections of 21 December 2023.
The Commissions are made up as follows:
1st Permanent Commission – Budget and Planning – Heritage: Provincial councilors Lamensa Giancarlo; Priest Carmine; Chiaravalle Francesco; De Franco Pasquale; D’Arienzo Alfonso; Madeo Rosellina; Capalbo Pino.
2nd Permanent Commission – Roads and Transport – Territorial Planning: Provincial councilors De Franco Pasquale; D’Arienzo Alfonso; Morelli Francesco; Nociti Ferdinando; Algieri Andrea; Tavernise Salvatore; Ciacco Giuseppe.
3rd Permanent Commission – Construction and School Planning – Social Policies – Equal Opportunities: Provincial councilors Chiaravalle Francesco; Nociti Ferdinando; D’Arienzo Alfonso; Algieri Andrea; Lamensa Giancarlo; Capalbo Pino; Tavernise Salvatore.
4th Permanent Commission – General Affairs and Institutional Policies: Provincial councilors Morelli Francesco; Nociti Ferdinando; Lamensa Giancarlo; Priest Carmine; Madeo Rosellina; Ciacco Giuseppe; Tavernise Salvatore.
5th Permanent Commission – Control and Guarantee: Provincial councilors Morelli Francesco; De Franco Pasquale; Chiaravalle Francesco; Priest Carmine; Algieri Andrea; Ciacco Giuseppe; Madeo Rosellina.
The President was satisfied: «the Commissions will have the task of making the work of the councilors easier with respect to the issues on which the Provincial Government body is called upon to decide», the comment. The council body also definitively approved the 2024-2026 budget forecast.
