Catanzaro – On May 2nd, at 10 am, in the Monteleone room of the Regional Council of Calabria, the presentation of the short film “Il peso della Bellezza” will be held. Filming took place in the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria, precisely in the municipalities of Calanna and Laganadi, villages in the Vallata del Gallico. “The Weight of Beauty” is directed by Sergio Panarello, produced by Open Mind and supported by the Calabria Film Commission. Executive production by Baobei Entertainment. The vice-president of the Calabria Region Council, the regional councilor Cirillo, the president of the Film Commission Anton Giulio Grande, the director Sergio Panarello, the Open Mind producer Luca Zingone, the Baobei producer Michele Geria will speak at the press meeting.
The mayors of the municipalities in which the docufilm was filmed will be present: Domenico Romeo (Calanna) and Michele Spadaro (Laganadi), accompanied by their respective members of the municipal councils, and the director of the provincial territorial area, Antonino Cama. Also attending the screening were students from the schools and communities of the Gallico Valley, as well as the cast and workers who oversaw the creation of the short.
