Matteo Collura will tell it in Tunis

Not only Italy, but also Sicily and Agrigento guests at the international book fair in Tunis. Mutual knowledge, exaltation of similarities, valorization of differences: these are the coordinates of participation in the 38th edition of the cultural event scheduled from Friday 19th to Sunday 28th April at the Kram exhibition center. Some of the protagonists of the Bel Paese’s cultural scene will offer an exemplary cross-section of the literary current affairs of contemporary Italy in relation to the context that hosts it. Not monologues but dialogues in which to (re)know, each in the other, the expressive characteristics, the soul of the common Mediterranean identity.

Alongside the narration of the works, through this exchange of voices, it will be possible to range from the analysis of creative methods to that of cultural legacies, from passions to literary influences, continuing that path of comparison and dialogue to which Italy is particularly attentive and which sees book fairs abroad are one of the main opportunities to develop.

Among the authors present in Tunis is the writer and journalist from Agrigento Matteo Collura. They will be welcomed in the “Italian Pavilion”, an area of approximately 220 square meters. The visit of the Minister of Culture Gennaro Sangiuliano is scheduled for April 27th.

Matteo Collura is expected on the morning of Monday 22 April. He will explore the literature of the land where “Europe begins and ends”. He will be introduced by Antonella Ferrara and Alfio Bonaccorso, respectively president and executive director of the Taobuk festival of which the program of the 14th edition will be presented in preview (Taormina, 20-24 June).
