Certa Stampa – MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING MUNICIPALITY OF TERAMO WITH THE PLASTIC FREE ONLUS ASSOCIATION

In recent days, with the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the Plastic Free Onlus association and the Municipal Administration, a significant step has been taken towards the promotion of environmental sustainability and the fight against plastic pollution.

The signing ceremony took place in the presence of the Councilor Valdo Di Bonaventura, the Regional Representative of Plastic Free Onlus Luca Di Carlantonio, the Municipal Manager Architect Gianni Cimini; it implicitly represents the starting point of an important path of joint initiatives, aimed at reducing plastic consumption and combating its abandonment.

The memorandum of understanding establishes a close and lasting collaboration between the Municipality of Teramo and the voluntary organization that has been engaged for several years in combating plastic pollution, defining guidelines and common objectives to address the challenges related to the management of plastic waste and environmental awareness throughout the territory.

Councilor Di Bonaventura thanks the association for the sensitivity and collaboration shown and hopes, certain of gathering appropriate support, for further cooperation.

Mayor Gianguido D’Alberto also thanks the association for its competent and attentive availability and underlines the value of the agreement, an important piece in contributing to the protection of the territory and raising citizens’ awareness on such current issues.
