On the occasion of SIOS24 Sardinia, scheduled for May 23rd, Startupitalia,
in collaboration with Innoisorganizes the fourth edition of the contest to elect the StartupSarda of the year.
The call “Sardinian startup of the year”, the fourth edition of the award organized by StartupItalia in collaboration with INNOIS, is dedicated to startups and companies that have an operational headquarters in Sardinia. Participants will have the opportunity to give visibility and make your project known within the INNOIS and StartupItalia channels, presenting it to a digital (and non-digital) audience made up of professionals and experts, during the SIOS24 Sardinia scheduled for the next one May 23, 2024.
Furthermore, all the startups that apply, in addition to competing for the “Sardinian Startup of the Year Award”, will also have the opportunity to be select for the Startupitalia Bootstrap, one-to-one meetings with investors and industry professionals.

Apply your startup by May 8th
You can nominate your startup by filling out this form. The call will be open from 17 April 2024 to 8 May 2024. Once the Call is closed, all candidate startups will be evaluated and selected, based on the selection criteria, by the StartupItalia editorial team which, taking into account all these factors, will draw up the list of the 5 finalists who will have the opportunity to go on stage at SIOS24 Sardinia on May 23, 2024.
Finally, the 5 finalist startups will be evaluated by a jury of experts and professionals in the sector, and the most voted startup will be rewarded live with the “Sardinian startup of the year” award. SIOS24 Sardinia – Innois”.
Furthermore, all the startups that will apply, in addition to competing for the “Sardinian Startup of the Year Award”, will also have the opportunity to be selected for the Startupitalia Bootstrap, a format that includes mentoring sessions and one-to-one meetings with investors and industry professionals, active in the regional and national innovation ecosystem.
Criteria to participate
The startups nominated for the “Sardinian Startup of the Year” award will be selected based on the following criteria:
The company must be independent and must have an operational headquarters in Sardinia. Startups that, in addition to the mandatory requirements, possess at least one (or more) of the following requirements will be positively evaluated (by assigning a higher score).
- 2023 revenue of at least 100K
- Turnover growing compared to the last quarter of 2022
- Raised at least 100K with public funding (2023)
- Raised at least 100K with private funding (2023)
