National Biennial of Contemporary Art: around the state of the art. Premio Marche, monographic exhibition in Gradara from 20 April.

Saturday 20 April, at the MARV in Gradara, at 11 am, the curators Andrea Carnevali and Cecilia Casadei, with the artists present Bruno Cerboni Bajardi, Walter Angelici, Alessandro Giampaoli And Renato Bertiniwill meet the public for a visit to the current exhibition “and reflect on the message of art between literature and tradition, abstraction and figuration in the language of the Marche artists.


In giving continuity to the Exhibition (which plans to arrive every two years in each different city in the Marche), the project of this National Edition was carried out in a prestigious venue of Italian culture. The exhibition will address two analytical lines of works, dealing with a critical rereading updated to the following decade in the consideration of some stylistic and thematic lines that also consider (with a selection of the artists present), developed according to the following scheme identified by the curators: From tradition to new languages ​​and from words to images (Andrea Carnevali) e Languages ​​and poetics from the evocation of Nature and new perspectives (Cecilia Casadei).


Through a thoughtful selection of artists and with disciplined scientific criteria, the project becomes a contribution to contemporary artistic historiography given by the Marche, a region characterized by important artistic flows and prominent personalities, a fertile place of artistic production that deserves a more in-depth examination of some aspects of the aesthetic and cultural values ​​produced today.
