Province of Ravenna: competition for accountants

The Province of Ravenna has announced a competition for administrative-accounting services instructors.

In fact, they select 2 new resources for hires with an employment relationship a indefinite periodto be included in the Instructors’ Area.

The competition is open to graduates.

To submit your application for admission you have until April 23, 2024.

WHAT DOES THE ADMINISTRATIVE ACCOUNTING INSTRUCTOR DO

The staff units identified through the competition of the Province of Ravenna for accountants will be allocated to Road Sector and to the Financial Economic Planning, Human Resources, Networks and Information Systems Sector.

The tasks relating to this professional profile are:

• carries out investigative activities in the administrative/accounting field;
• issues certifications and documents, taking care, in compliance with legal procedures and obligations and making use of the professional knowledge typical of the profile, of the collection, processing and analysis of data, as well as relationships with users/colleagues relating to the unit of belonging;
• carries out control and review activities of accounting and administrative practices;
• can carry out study and research activities for the purposes of preparing standardized administrative measures;
• if assigned, performs secretarial and technical support functions for political bodies.

SALARY

The positions put up for competition are entitled to the following financial treatment:

• starting salary equal to: €21,392.88 (table salary) gross per year;
• thirteenth month’s salary;
• sector indemnity equal to €549.60 gross annual;
• any additional salary envisaged by the supplementary contract;
• contractual holiday allowance for 13 months €891.93.

The aforementioned emoluments are subject to social security, welfare and tax withholdings, as per law.

REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED

Persons in possession of the general requirements for access to public competitions can participate in the competition for accountants of the Province of Ravenna, namely:

• Italian citizenship or one of the European Union countries or other categories indicated in the announcement;
• be at least 18 years of age and not older than that required by current regulations for retirement;
• psycho-physical fitness;
• enjoyment of civil and political rights;
• regular position towards compulsory military service;
• not having been dismissed or released from a job in the Public Administration due to persistent insufficient performance, not having been declared forfeited from a state job;
• not having had any criminal convictions that prevent them from establishing a working relationship with the public administration.

It is also required to have a High school diploma (lasting five years).

HOW THE SELECTION IS MADE

If the number of competitors exceeds 100 units, the Administration has the right to resort to one pre-selective testwhich will consist of a general culture and/or psycho-aptitude test and/or on the subjects on which the written test will focus.

The selection of candidates will then take place through the carrying out of two exams, one written and one oral, covering the following subjects:

• Law no. 56 of 7 April 2014 and subsequent amendments “Provisions on metropolitan cities, provinces, unions and mergers of municipalities”, with particular reference to provincial regulations;
• Notions on the organization of Local Authorities with particular reference to provincial regulations;
• Elements of Administrative Law, with particular reference to administrative acts and law 241/1990 and subsequent amendments;
• Regulatory principles regarding Transparency and Privacy – Legislative Decree no. 33 of 14 March 2013 and subsequent amendments;
• Elements regarding purchases of goods and services in the Public Administration;
• Presidential Decree no. 62 of 16 April 2013 “Regulation containing the code of conduct for public employees pursuant to article 54 of the legislative decree 30 March 2001, n. 165” and current code of conduct for employees of the Province of Ravenna;
• Crimes against the Public Administration referred to in Book II Title II Chapter I of the Penal Code.

During the oral test, knowledge of the English language and the use of main IT packages most widespread.

This public selection complies with the new rules set out in the public competition regulations.

HOW TO SUBMIT THE APPLICATION

The application for participation in the competition for accountants of the Province of Ravenna must be submitted by 12.00 on 23 April 2024exclusively in via telematics via the inPA recruitment portal, by connecting to the link on this page.

To access the platform you must authenticate using SPID, CIE, CNS or eIDAS credentials.

It is always useful when participating in a public selection to have your own address certified email (PEC) as the entities can also communicate with the candidates via certified e-mail. Anyone who doesn’t have one can read in this article how to get one in just 30 minutes, from home.

Furthermore, to participate in the selection, the candidate must pay the competition fee €10.00.

FURTHER INFORMATION

All communications relating to the procedure, including the list of candidates admitted conditionally to the selection, will be published through a specific notice on the website of the Province of Ravenna, in the Competition Announcements section, no less than 20 days before of the written test.

The notice for submission to the oral test will be communicated to the candidates at least 15 days before of the test itself.
