Fight at home, violent husband driven away – Pescara

PESCARA. He had signs of the struggle on him: scratches on his body and a bump on his head. Her trembling eyes, lost in the void, probably thinking back to her umpteenth attack within the home due to her husband’s morbid jealousy, who had given her no respite for some time now. To the point that on Sunday evening, around 10pm, the woman took her mobile phone and ran into the street, in the heart of Fontanelle, finding the courage to report everything to the police. The providential phone call and the arrival of two patrols from the Flying Squad did the rest, allowing for a rapid reconstruction of the matter, which ended with the precautionary measure of emergency removal from the family home, issued against the violent man.
It is another story of mistreatment in the family, with a 44-year-old woman from Pescara ending up in a spiral of violence caused by her 48-year-old husband. The epilogue late on Sunday evening when, at the height of a physical attack committed within the home, in an apartment in the Fontanelle district where the couple’s adult son also lives, the wife manages to escape into the street with the signs of the struggle still evident and decides to ask the police for help for the first time. The measure was urgently ordered by the police, under the orders of the deputy commissioner Pierpaolo Varrassofollowing the authorization of the public prosecutor, considering the reasons that could have led to a repetition of the criminal conduct to be well founded and therefore with the aim of protecting the victim from the violent family member, as provided for by the recent provisions for the fight against gender violence .
The argument at home, yet another for trivial reasons mostly linked to the man’s obsessive jealousy, resulted in physical aggression. The woman, worried for her own safety, however managed to take advantage of a moment of distraction from her husband and run into the front door. Then, once on the street, she took the phone and contacted the emergency number, thus starting the rescue machine. Two police officers intervened on site, in the Fontanelle area, whose staff immediately tracked down the victim of the attack, finding her still deeply shaken by what she had just suffered. The husband was then accompanied to the police station where, once the ritual checks were completed, he was subjected to emergency removal from the family home pending validation by the investigating judge.
