‘It is essential to work together – Collaboration between entrepreneurs and workers and the new Business and Work declination…. it’s the future’. This is the name of the conference organized in Perugia by the regional consulate of the National Federation of Labor Masters at the FIGC-LND auditorium, granted on the occasion by Confindustria Umbria.
The initiative
Present were the number one of Confindustria Umbria Vincenzo Briziarelli, the representative of the archdiocese of Perugia Don Antonio Paoletti and the regional consul of Umbria of the masters of work, the engineer Stefano Maria Perelli: the latter, in the introductory speech, proposed a moment of contemplation for fellow labor master Adriano Scandellari, who died together with six other workers in the recent tragic accident in the Suviana power plant. In the various interventions – moderated by Alvaro Fiorucci – “a journey through time was taken which started with the over one hundred year history of one of the most prestigious Umbrian and Italian companies in the construction field”, namely Fornaci Briziarelli Marsciano (there was the vice-president Gianni Meneghini). Then focus on the Ternano chemical sector with the presentation of Paolo Olivieri, former Montedison manager; the collaboration between university, business and the world of work is illustrated.
Sustainability
The conference continued with representatives of the academic world with the intervention of a humanistic and philosophical nature by the professor of history of philosophy Marco Martino (UniPg), the technical and economic report by the professor of strategy and sustainability Paolo Taticchi (University College London) and the speech by Luca Ferrucci, professor of economics and business management (UniPg). Closing the circle are the words of the national president of the Federation of Labor Masters, Elio Giovati.
