Civitavecchia – Request for tariff reductions for traders on the occupation of public areas accepted by the municipal administration
Civitavecchia – We receive and publish – A few days ago a meeting was held at the municipality of Civitavecchia to discuss the request for a reduction in the concession fee for the occupation of public areas intended for markets. A need born not only for greater sustainability in favor of commercial activities, but also to correctly adapt the new garage contracts assigned with the latest public notice.

This need was supported by a series of conditions that emerged from an investigation conducted by Cna Viterbo and Civitavecchia, which highlighted the urgency of the request. Among these, the effective reduction in percentage terms of the market value of commercial properties €/m2, which would benefit the operators of the historic market of Civitavecchia, a reality which today sees profound changes approaching and which requires support and guarantees.
This work was possible thanks to the collaboration between the representatives of the category, the municipal administration represented by the mayor and the councilors Paola Rossi and Francesco Serpa and thanks to the expertise of the municipal offices of Heritage and State Property and Financial Services. In the newfound synergy between the parties, demonstrated in recent months, it is therefore hoped that the tariff reduction and the application of the same to the operators’ old and new contracts will be resolved as soon as possible.
