Very negative moment for the former Molfetta Calcio goalkeeper, Assane Diame. The Senegalese goalkeeper, born in 2004, made several appearances in Serie D with the red and white jersey last season, in the summer he moved to Bitonto after relegation with the Molfetta club.

Things didn’t go any better in the neroverde either, given that Bitonto is currently second to last in the standings: on Sunday, however, an episode occurred that has no connection with sport and its values. Some hooded troublemakers stormed the team bus, causing fear and terror among the black and green members, in particular attacking the goalkeeper believed, according to them, to be among those responsible for the defeat suffered in Rotonda.

“This is an act that requires deep reflection in everyone”, the words of the President of Bitonto, Antonello Orlino, to comment on this ugly episode. The worst epilogue came in the last few hours: Diame, still shaken by the attack he suffered, decided to free himself from the Bitontina team and leave the city.
