Viterbo – We receive and publish – I would like to point out the very serious situation that Via Tullio Cima finds itself in (Grotticella area), a few steps from the center of Viterbo.

I have sent numerous certified e-mails to the municipality highlighting the state of severe degradation the entire street is in, but no response has ever been received or action has been taken.

First of all, a completely illegal road was opened on a public green area at number 39, which is regularly crossed by both pedestrians, motorcycles and cars.

The situation is embarrassing, I have never seen traffic pass through public green spaces enough to create a real dirt road.

The gate that should prevent this passage is promptly torn down and thrown into a ditch every day. About 6 certified e-mails were sent to the authorities over the months and nothing was done.

In the park, always public, at the end of the street an enormous tree has fallen and has been lying in the middle of the park for months, where there is also a risk of a hydrogeological problem as the stream/river that passes through it and is then channeled under the road is now covered by a bramble forest.

Grass more than a meter high along the entire street, wild boars that every day (rightly feeling at home) overturn rubbish bins, cars that politely park despite the continuous white line on the side of the road (therefore parking prohibited) along the road, forcing traffic proceeds in alternate directions. And trees that have never been pruned, whose branches touch the asphalt and whose branches could fall on cars and people as soon as the wind picked up or the rain came.

For all this, numerous certified e-mails were made and sent to the municipality.

I hope that the authorities wake up and bring order, cleanliness and legality.

Carlo Valeri
