Legnano – Second meeting of training races for the Palio di Legnano, organized by the College of captains and districts at the “Giovanni Mari” Stadium in Legnano. Three invalid moves and one intentional lowering of the mover for this Grand Masters Grand Prix final. Pusceddu routed and led the battery, maintaining the lead of the race until the final.

Giuseppe Zedde with Last Minute, Carlo Sanna with Don Raffaele, Alessio Bincoletto with the 90s, Federico Arri with Poison
A first dry race with a thousand emotions, after a rather difficult start, Bincoletto takes the lead at the first corner despite an obstacle opposed by the horses of Arri and Sanna, Sanna himself fell at the turn of the move, unseating his jockey and causing him to fall into the area of the race workers where it caused a component of the rope to fall. Carlo Sanna also fell and suffered no physical damage, while on the track Bincoletto surprisingly won this first test of the afternoon.

Giuseppe Zedde with Napoleon, Salvatore Nieddu with Michelino, Silvano Mulas with Domingo e Carlo Sanna with Encantadora
A hard-fought race with three jockeys who will be present at the Palio on May 26th ready to fight for victory. Success for Silvano Mulas, who did well to take the lead right from the start, fending off the attacks of Nieddu and Carlo Sanna.

Third dry run
Salvatore Nieddu with Lalu, Giuseppe Zedde with Cheddar, Federico Fabbri with Giolino e Nicolò Farnetani with Bullet
With Federico Fabbri replacing Giosuè Carboni at the last moment and it is he who is the Provaccia della Flora jockey who takes the lead and rebounds the attacks of Nieddu and Zedde. Fabbri keeps his head until the end, resisting Zedde’s final lockout.

Dry race without any particular shocks with victory for Zedde and with a single note worthy of the news, Carboni’s excellent start at the first corner where he gained two positions with an entry on Mulas which really showed positive signs.
