The Labor Court of Lamezia Terme rejected the request proposed by Dr Maria Angela Campolo against the acts of the ASP of Catanzaro with which the role of head of the dialysis department of the Lamezia Terme hospital was attributed to Dr. Maurizio Gullo.
In the interest of the head physician Gullo, the lawyer. Francesco Pitaro countered the arguments supported by the appellant by supporting the full correctness and legitimacy of the procedure carried out by the ASP Catanzaro in assigning the task, as well as Gullo’s enormous curricular assets and his significant experience in the field also as a substitute for the head physician.
More precisely, the lawyer. Francesco Pitaro argued that the ASP Catanzaro acted correctly by fully motivating the choice after having carefully carried out a curricular comparison between the candidates, resulting from documents, and despite it not even being necessary as also stated by the jurisprudence. At the end of the trial, the Court of Lamezia therefore, with a sentence filed today, rejected the request and ordered the appellant Campolo to pay the court costs.
“Dr. Maurizio Gullo can, therefore, – declared the lawyer. Francesco Pitaro – legitimately continue to carry out the role of head of the dialysis department of the Lamezia Terme Hospital and continue to make his professionalism, his rich curriculum and his relevant experience”.
