SANGRO CASTLE – “The mental health center will be transferred, together with other local services, to the premises of the former headquarters of the mountain community whose suitability was ascertained with an inspection in recent days”.
This was stated by the corporate management of ASL 1 Abruzzo in the news published by some press outlets regarding access problems for disabled people in the current headquarters of the Castel di Sangro mental health centre.
“In the inspection of last April 23rd”, explains the engineer Federico D’Aulerioresponsible for the management and optimization of the ASL’s assets service, “we have verified the suitability of the premises of the former headquarters of the mountain community. The building, divided into three levels, for a total surface area of over 1000 square metres, is therefore suitable for hosting healthcare services. We are already at work with a project that includes adaptation works with which it will be possible to ensure an environment accessible to all, including people with disabilities”.
