Ancona28 March 2024 – All-day strike, Friday 5 April, by port workers: in the Marche region, around 1000 workers are affected.
The strike was proclaimed by Filt Cgil, Fit Cisl and Uiltrasporti; the reasons are linked to the failure to renew the contract, the request for a fair salary to recover purchasing power, for the defense of the law on ports 84 of ’94 and for the protection of the health and safety of workers in the sector.
For the occasion, a meeting of all the workers of the port of Ancona will be held on Wednesday 3 April at 9.30 am (until 11 am) at the headquarters of the Central Adriatic Port System Authority (Molo Santa Maria, An).
On Friday 5 April, however, a demonstration will take place at the port of Ancona, from 10 to 11.30.
