A nightmare for an old lady. The story, which is incredible, began with a phone call and ended with an arrest.
The elderly woman had received a call from a self-styled lawyer. The man, convincingly, he had said that the lady’s son had hit a pedestrian and needed money to avoid serious trouble with the law. The woman, believing the story, had prepared a large sum of money and a box with gold and precious stones.
The task of collecting money and jewels had been entrusted to a 17-year-old. The young man showed up at the victim’s house, but the arrival of the old woman’s daughter averted the scam. The scam turned into a robbery, because the 17-year-old, to escape, he pushed the woman and kicked her daughter in the groin.
The prompt intervention of the neighbors and the two victims, who chased the boy, made it possible to stop his escape. The young man was then definitively blocked and handed over to the police who had arrived on site in the meantime. At the end of the formalities, the minor was finally arrested in flagrante delicto for aggravated improper robbery and personal injury.
