The Under 15 selection of Piedmont Valle d’Aosta has reached the final of the Regions Tournament currently being held in Liguria. The team led by coach Francesco Di Nuovo prevailed over Abruzzo 3-0 thanks to goals from Sottile, directly from a corner, Ferello and Maiolo from a penalty. The final against Campania, who won 3-1 over Veneto, is scheduled for 9.30am on Friday 29 March in Genoa.

Regular time was not enough to unlock the semi-final between Piedmont Valle d’Aosta and Campania in the Under 17 category. The second round with penalties was fatal for the Piedmontese. In the final the Campanians will challenge Lombardy, victorious 2-1 over Veneto.

Winning penalties for the Under 19 boys, who took the lead against Marche thanks to Ferrari, but a few seconds from the 90th minute they were caught by their opponents. The eleven-metre lottery rewards Piedmont Valle d’Aosta which qualifies for the final at 4.30pm on Friday against Calabria, who also won on penalties over Emilia Romagna.
