In Casoria, a fight breaks out between two groups of minors due to one glance too many. And one of these wicked babies pulls out a gun and explodes a barrage of shots, unleashing terror among those crowding via Achille del Giudice. All those present fled, fearing a repeat of what happened just last Sunday in nearby Afragola, when hundreds of people, including the faithful of the parish of San Giorgio, found themselves involved in the clash between two families in Piazza Castellowhich ended with three wounded by gunshots and two others hit with baseball bats.
The Carabinieri of the Casoria company were on site, with Captain Valentina Bianchin, and after a few moments they noticed a person, crouching between the parked cars, who was still holding the gun. With remarkable coldness and professionalism, the soldiers, realizing that it could be a minor, without using their service weapons, managed to block and disarm that boy, a sixteen-year-old resident of Casavatore, who had brought with him a replica pistol, a perfect copy of the Beretta 9 caliber, without the red cap, and therefore easy to look like a real instrument of death. At the site of the blank shooting, investigators found and seized three blank cartridge cases, while at the end of the personal search of the 16-year-old, the carabinieri seized some doses of marijuana. And before being returned to his parents, the minor was reported to the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office.
In Pomigliano it was the turn of an 18-year-old student, with no criminal record and from a good family, to end up in the sights of the gang. The boy was attacked for trivial reasons by three peers in Piazza Primavera. He suffered a broken nose, various bruises and a wound on his face probably caused by a broken bottle. After the attack the young man was transported to the emergency room of the old Pellegrini hospital in Naples. Here the doctors discharged him after a few hours. The doctors diagnosed him with facial fractures and wounds that could heal in a month and a half.
The episode took place around 10pm on Friday evening in Piazza Primavera, meeting place of the city’s nightlife animated every weekend by thousands of young people from Pomigliano and Acerra, Casalnuovo, Cisterna, Sant’Anastasia, Brusciano, Somma Vesuviana. In the square there is a large pedestrian area bordered by a large bar. Here a fight suddenly broke out. Three young men savagely beat another boy. According to the reconstruction of the police, one look too many triggered the fury of the violent men. However, one look was enough to land an 18-year-old young man in hospital (the soldiers of the local station, directed by Captain Alessandro Gagliano, commander of the Castello di Cisterna company, investigated). Meanwhile, the military is proceeding to identify the perpetrators of the attack. According to what has been leaked so far, it seems that the attackers are also students with no criminal record from Pomigliano. The alarm remains about a wild nightlife that grazes around dozens of clubs that have sprung up like mushrooms. In Pomigliano last week there was a shooting in Via Leopardi, in front of a nightclub, where a boy was injured in the head with a bat.
