The coach’s words on the importance of the Maradona match in view of the championship final and beyond

Agostinelli: “Napoli-Atalanta from inside or outside, here’s who I expect if Kvara doesn’t play”

“Napoli-Atalanta is a fundamental match, a direct clash and whoever loses it goes out of the Champions League fight. Even Atalanta, by losing, could exit the fight for major Europe because Napoli would then have crazy self-esteem which would make them one more opponent. Napoli won only 12 games out of 29, but you have to believe it because Calzona has restored something from last year: the Azzurri did something more than before Calzona. It will be a physical match, we will need to run a lot. Atalanta is having their best year in the defensive phase, but will leave some opportunities. The trap for Napoli will be the low pace: the Neapolitans must avoid putting the game to sleep because Atalanta would become dangerous there. In case of Kvara, Lindstrom or Raspadori forfeit? Lindstrom would damn me as a coach because I see some talents but then the truth is told by the pitch on Sundays and if he doesn’t bring them out then he is penalised. I’ll throw Raspadori in in any case, especially on the centre-left, so I’d focus on him.”
