About fifteen cars were submerged in the water. The island’s civil protection intervened on site, although fortunately no injuries to people were reported.

There are also problems on the provincial road that connects Cavo to Rio nell’Elba, where a series of landslides have occurred which have created problems and inconveniences to traffic.
