The party is ready. Trapani “sees” promotion to Serie C within reach and will be able to touch it in the next match, scheduled for Sunday 7 April in the direct clash with Siracusa.
In the midweek round of the thirty-third day of the Serie D championship, Trapani drew 0-0, achieving a very important record: a year without defeats. Trapani’s last defeat was on 2 April against Castrovillari and, since then, the Granata have never stopped.
Against San Luca the Granata achieved their second goalless draw in their last three away games. But, in the end, Siracusa’s failure to win in the derby with Ragusa opened the doors to promotion in the next match even with a draw. Trapani, in fact, now has a 10-point advantage and winning the next match against the Aretusei would bring them to 13 points when, after that match, there would only be 12 points up for grabs.
