The Serie A2 playoffs begin under the banner of Cioli Ariccia and Bitonto: the former won the derby with Sporting Hornets 7-3, the latter scored an important 7-2 against Canicattì. In the other blitz matches Olympia Rovereto (4-2 at MGM 2000), only one draw, that between Audace Monopoli and Mascalucia. Playouts in the name of Aosta and Messina, both 3-1 ok.
THE RULES – The first two rounds of the Serie A2 playoffs are played with home and away matches, with the second match scheduled on the pitch of the club with the best placing at the end of the regular season. In the event of a tie in goals scored at the end of the return leg, there will be room for two overtime periods of 5′ each; if the balance persists, the team with the best placing at the end of the regular season will qualify. Similar regulation in the playouts, with the host club in the second leg determined by a draw and a difference: in the event of a tie in goals scored at the end of the extra-time of the second match, survival would be decided by penalty shots.
