He tries to jump twice, but is saved by the police from the Andria Police Headquarters

He tried to carry out an extreme gesture, first by threatening to throw himself from the terrace of his home and then from the kitchen window but two patrol officers from the Police Headquarters, who promptly intervened on the spot, they saved his life.

It happened a few days ago in Andria when a man reported to number 113 that he wanted to make an extreme gesture. The operator, having guessed his intentions, kept him on the phone while a police patrol from Via Indipendenza arrived on site. The man, in a clear state of psychophysical alteration, fled towards the terrace at the sight of the officers. While he was trying to climb over the parapet, the two policemen blocked him and managed with difficulty to make him safe.

Subsequently, they brought him home where they found his son who said he hadn’t noticed anything. The intervention of 118 was immediately requested. While waiting, the two policemen tried to reassure the man who suddenly, in a fit of anger, freed himself and headed at full speed towards the kitchen window.

Once again they managed to block him and keep him safe until the arrival of medical personnel who, after initial treatment on site, took him to hospital for further checks.
