Yesterday morning the crews of the State Police Police reported three foreign subjects, all illegal on the national territory: a 17-year-old Tunisian, reported for aggravated personal injury and possession of a small quantity of drugs, a 23-year-old Somali, referred for failure to comply with the Police Commissioner’s order to leave the national territory and disorderly drunkenness, and finally a 29-year-old Ivorian, also reported for failure to comply with the Police Commissioner’s order and possession of a small quantity of drugs.
It all began around 11 in the morning when a patrol car, engaged in constant territorial control, noticed a group of people in Piazzetta della Tessitrice in Como who, as soon as they saw the police car, fled. One of them, later identified as the 17-year-old Tunisian, while he was fleeing, got rid of two wrappers, found to contain hashish, which the police immediately found and kept.
After a quick chase on foot in the horse chestnut area, two of the group of fugitives were blocked and caught: the 23-year-old Somali and the 29-year-old Ivorian. After a few moments the officers heard screams coming from Piazzetta della Tessitrice and immediately went to the scene, finding the 17-year-old Tunisian who, having retraced his steps, was violently beating a 35-year-old Pakistani man, a regular in the area, causing fractures and injuries to his face. judged to be healable in 25 days.
The officers quickly reconstructed the facts, discovering that the reason for the beating was attributable to the 17-year-old Tunisian’s belief that the Pakistani individual had picked up the drugs from the ground and had taken possession of them which he had previously disposed of during his escape. The injured man was transported to the hospital and treated while his attacker and the other two subjects were taken to the police station to be reported at large.
