the 2024 edition of the “Valore Impresa” award starts again in Bergamo

BPER Banca presented the award “Enterprise Value 2024” to three excellent SMEs in Lombardy, which have proven resilient and successful thanks to a profoundly innovative and sustainable approach to business, capable of generating development both inside and outside the Region.

The initiative is part of the roadshow which will see the Bank present in eight Italian regions to reward the excellence of each territory.

The “Valore Impresa” award, created by BPER with the aim of valorising the entrepreneurial stories of small and medium-sized Italian businesses, was awarded to Marlegno, Planetel And W&H Sterilization from the Regional Director of West Lombardy of BPER Banca, Luca Gotti, who declared: “We are starting again this year with the roadshow in the Italian territories to rediscover and enhance our excellent SMEs. The focus, as always, is on the capacity for innovation, sustainability, resilience, in a market which – at an Italian and international level – presents many opportunities, but also unknowns and instability due to ongoing geopolitical and macroeconomic phenomena. As always – continues Gotti – BPER Banca is close to local businesses with a specialized offering, ranging from consultancy on infrastructure investments to financial services, with the aim of acting as a multiplier of resources and generating further capital for businesses who want to invest today.”

Marlegno born in 2000, it is characterized on the market by the union of the owner’s name, the Marchetti family, and wood, a natural raw material that lends itself to customizations and cutting-edge applications in the construction of buildings. W&H Sterilization quickly established itself as the group’s production engine and as a leader in the world market. The Company pays particular attention to after-sales assistance and training of its distributors from the point of view of theoretical and technical knowledge and is concerned with raising their awareness regarding the basic notions of hygiene and sterilization. Today production takes place in the Brusaporto plant, which also hosts the R&D activity, which is particularly lively due to the launch of new products in the dental panorama.

The SMEs of Lombardy received the BPER Banca “Valore Impresa 2024” award on the occasion of the local stage of the “L’Economia d’Italia” event, the roadshow created by BPER in partnership with Corriere della Sera.
