Appointment with great music this evening at the “Spazioporto” in Taranto from 8 pm, where Gaia Daria Miolla aka GEA, is preparing to give the public an extraordinary and unique experience with her “Diversa Tour”, announced not by chance during the “International Day dedicated to women”, to continue in different Italian and international venues.
In an acoustic, elegant and free-from-the-box dimension, GEA, a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter, will transport listeners on an emotional journey without borders, through a “music-making” that amalgamates and unites elements of soul, jazz, electronic, blues, pop and Arab influences; her songs, written in Italian, French and English, are a labyrinth of engaging rhythm and sound that touch the heart and soul.
Born as a drummer, GEA also composes and produces her songs with guitar and voice and her talent is expressed in its completeness in leading the audience into a dimension where emotions are the undisputed protagonists, and which the artist wanted to call “Fantàsia” in homage to the poet Michel Ende.
His curriculum up to now has also been a very varied and full journey, played out between training, stages and recording rooms; passed from the experience of various bands, a duo and different collaborations with other artists and arrived, a few years ago, at his personal project as a soloist; among the experiences we find the creation of a soundtrack for Mediaset RTI, a concert at the Teatro Forma in Bari, participation in talent shows such as Amici and The Voice.
Winner of the “Martelive” 2022 Biennial in Rome, last year she was a finalist in the “Permette Signorina” contest for singer-songwriters by Lunatika in Rome, at the “New Generation Award Life” – Award for young musicians from Puglia by Medimex; honorable mention at the “Music for Phest” in Monopoli, selected at the “Music for Change”.
Drummer selected for the experience of the “Umbria Jazz” Clinics, she has participated as a singer-songwriter in some festivals including: the “Corviale Urban Lab” in Rome, the “Festival dei Buskers” in Mirabello Sannitico (Cb), the Urban Lab at Loseto Park (Ba), the “PAX Festival of Peace” in Bari, the “In the Land” Festival in Locorotondo, the “International traveling Gipsyland Festival” in Noci, the “Damn the music” in Terlizzi and the Concert of “1st May 2023 in Bari”.
He also played at Red Ronnie’s Roxybar del Barone Rosso, at the Alexanderplatz Jazz Club Rome, at the Apollo in Milan and at Rockin 1000 at the Stadio dei Marmi in Rome.
His Live shows have also brought his musical project to Lecce, Ascoli Piceno, Andria and Trani and he has also brought his innovative musical Songwriting Laboratory to the 1st International Conference “Creativity and extra-endowment” of the Talent Lab of the University of Pavia, with whom he collaborates for the SteamA Laboratories.
