Costa Serena will conclude the season with a cruise departing on 15 December 2024 from Port Klang to Phu My and Hong Kong
Genoa – Hwajing Travel and Tours, a Malaysian tour operator, chartered the Costa Serena cruise ship in December for a series of itineraries from Port Klang.
Costa Serena will offer four-day trips to Phuket, three-day trips to Penang and a six-day trip through Vietnam and Hong Kong.

Costa Serena will conclude the season with a cruise departing on 15 December 2024 from Port Klang to Phu My and Hong Kong. Guests can explore Ho Chi Minh City from Phu My, Vietnam, before heading to Hong Kong.
The history of the ship
Built by Fincantieri in Genoa Sestri Ponente, the ship was delivered to Costa in 2007. Eight years later it was destined for the Asian market with its ‘sisters’ Atlantica, Fortuna (in 2016) and Victoria. From January 2020 to May 2023, following the global Covid-19 pandemic, she remained laid up. The ship has 1,500 cabins, of which 87 inside the wellness area and 505 with private balconies, 58 suites all with private balconies and another 12 suites inside the wellness area. The interiors of the ship, inspired by ancient Greece, they are designed by the American architect Joseph Farcus.
