Postal: the authors of the littering in Bari have been identified

Criminal association, damage, defacement and defacement of other people’s property: this is the charge to which four people residing in the provinces of Bari and Lecce will have to answer, who were identified by the policemen of the Puglia Cyber Security Operations Center with the coordination of the Service Police post.

They are all part of the “ViVi” protest movement, a group born in opposition to the anti-Covid-19 vaccination campaigns, whose members sign their “exploits” with red paint.

Then, when the end of the pandemic was declared, the group’s clash with the institutional and democratic order moved to other topics such as “Agenda 2030” and “digital identity” or more generally towards political choices that were not shared.

The postal policemen, with the collaboration of their colleagues from the Digos of Bari and Lecce, have identified, among the four suspects, a 30-year-old from Bari who was responsible for at least thirteen episodes of damage and disfigurement in the capital: at the monumental cemetery, at the union offices, at educational or credit institutions and to the damage of Italian Post Office vehicles.

Through the searches, the police found and seized computer equipment, mobile phones, spray cans, fire extinguishers modified to be used with paint, wigs and camouflage clothing.
