Emma Stone he will soon be at the cinema in Yorgos Lanthimos’ film, Kinds of Kindness, consolidating his bond with the Hellenic director, for whom he also starred in Poor Creatures! and The Favorite in 2018. In both films, Stone appears naked and for the costume film six years ago she insisted on appearing naked.
In an interview at the time with The Hollywood Reporter, Emma Stone explained that for her character that nude sequence it was very important:“I had the sheet around me, and as we were filming I said, ‘Can I please make her naked?’ I think that way Sarah [il personaggio di Rachel Weisz] will have something to look at this way. In The Favourite, Yorgos Lanthimos tells the story of a love triangle between Queen Anne of England (Olivia Colman), who ruled in the 18th century, her chief advisor Sarah Jennings Churchill (Rachel Weisz) and Sarah’s scheming cousin Abigail (Emma Stone).
The film was presented at the Venice International Film Festival and received ten Oscar nominations. Olivia Colman was awarded the Oscar for best actress.
