After James Gunn, another “Guardian of the Galaxy” is a candidate to move from the MCU to the DCU. Chris Pratt, the actor who played Peter Quill/Star-Lord in the Marvel film series The Guardians of the Galaxydirected by James Gunn and in the films of Avengerswent to visit his director friend on the set of Superman: Legacy and said he was open to joining the cinematic universe inspired by DC Comics characters.

“There’s always a chance,” Pratt responded to TMZ who asked him if he would like to play a character from the DCU. Which? “I have to let the fans and people like James (Gunn) decide on that.” Gunn, in fact, is not only the director of the next Superman film but also co-president, co-administrator and creative director of DC Studios.

“I WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY”
“If I could fit it into my schedule and it made sense, I would love to do it,” Pratt reiterated. The actor hasn’t closed the doors to his MCU past, either: “Of course I love playing Star-Lord, and I hope there’s a chance he’ll come back. I feel blessed to be able to do these projects, to be considered. If it works out and the fans like it, I’d be more than happy to do it.”

A few weeks ago Gunn shared a photo of Chris Pratt on the set of Superman: Legacy on social media, adding the caption: “It’s always nice to get a visit on set from friends.” The production of Superman: Legacy has recently started filming and the first images have already been released, arousing reactions from fans. The film’s cast includes David Corenswet (Clark Kent/Superman), Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane), Nicholas Hoult (Lex Luthor) and Skyler Gisondo (Jimmy Olsen).
