TAURIANOVA Day to mark on the calendar: Thursday 16 May official departure of Taurianova Italian Book Capital 2024. At 5.00 pm, a conference will follow on the topic of combating educational poverty, cutting the ribbon of the “Taurianova Legge” event, one of the flagship events of the Taurianova Italian Book Capital 2024 programme.

From 6.00 pm the evening will continue in music with the concert of Saverio Arlia Wind Orchestra of the PI Tchaicovsky Conservatory, directed by the Maestro Cettina Nicolosi.
The event will end with the opening of the artistic exhibition of Maria Morgante, artist originally from Rosarno who, in the folding and carving of book pages, has identified an exemplary way of expressing her creativity by transforming common objects into true three-dimensional works of art.
