It was around 1 am today, Sunday 30 May, when some men burst into the party and shot those present. According to an initial reconstruction of the facts, reported by Bfmtv based on local police sources, three men with distorted faces would have entered into action and hooded men who would suddenly show up armed at the wedding banquet, opening fire on those present.
An evidently coordinated action since the three, according to the witnesses’ accounts, were armed with assault rifles and shotguns. According to the same sources, the attackers immediately opened fire on three people outside the club and then on some others who were standing in the lobby before fleeing in a car in which they had probably also arrived.

Numerous medical units rushed to the scene to assist the injured and police officers immediately started an investigation to reconstruct the facts. One of the victims died instantly, three others were taken to hospital and admitted in serious conditions including two in danger of life. Finally only light injuries for two others involved.
At the moment the reason for the shooting that targeted the wedding is unknown many members of the French Turkish community participated“The wedding was not targeted as such, but the people present at the wedding were targeted,” said a local police source who suspects the vehicle came from Germany or Luxembourg, whose borders are about fifteen kilometers away.
