Ukrainian military authorities have announced the destruction of a Russian Su-57 fighter using long-range weapons

The military authorities ofUkraine they made known the destruction of a Russian fighter Sukhoi Su-57, the most modern equipped for the Kremlin’s aviation, capable of carrying Kh-59 and Kh-69 missiles. It’s about the first which has been intercepted by anti-air forces since the beginning of the conflict.

The news comes after the United States and Germany have recently authorized Ukraine to strike some targets on Russian territory with long range weapons which they are supplying to Kiev. Ukraine has already used US weapons to strike inside Russia, according to guidelines indicated by the White House (limited purpose is to defend the city of Kharkiv).
Moscow did not comment on the news. On Saturday, the Ministry of Defence Russian had claimed that Moscow forces shot down three Ukrainian drones in the same Astrakhan region.
