Alberto Rodriguez’s prison thriller tells the story of Manuel (Miguel Herrán), an accountant who stole 50 pesetas. Accused of having stolen a higher amount, he is awaiting a trial that seems to never arrive: a minimum of 8 years in prison awaits him. He will join political prisoners calling for amnesty for crimes committed under Franco.
