DUSSELDORF (Germania) – Anthony Conte he was very clear when asked about the future of Kvica Kvaratskhelia during the presentation press conference at Napoli: “Kvara remains, I was very categorical about this, I wouldn’t want there to be this refrain in the future. It’s not news that I’m giving, the president gave it first“. The Georgian champion was at the center of several rumors which he himself also fueled (“Conte said I’m staying? I don’t know yet, I respect him because he is one of the best coaches in the world but I still don’t know how to give a certain answer about my future“) and the Italian management wanted to set the record straight: the president Aurelio De Laurentiis, Andrea Chiavelli (confident man) and the ds Giovanni Manna they flew to Düsseldorf (where he is staying at Georgia during Euro 2024) to speak with the player, reiterating the importance of his role in Conte’s new Napoli. The meeting was positive in a relaxed atmosphere between the parties, for what it seems to be a first step towards the renewal of Kvara.
