The world number one was dominant in his service games, conceding very few points to his opponent. Djokovic seemed at ease, however, as confirmed by the break at the start of the second set. A partial that ended with the score 2-1 in his favor. It is difficult to say whether the 7-time Wimbledon winner played to his full potential or, as they say, with the handbrake on to avoid taking risks.

However, the feeling is that Djokovic received positive indications from training with Sinner, also in light of what he said upon returning to the locker room. The Serbian champion appeared in good spirits, and in fact he also wanted to thank the groundsmen for a turf that he said was excellent.
The possibility of seeing Djokovic in the draw at Wimbledon, a few days after the operation, is very real.
