The storm complete with an emergency appeal against the start of work at Franchi remains in the background. But the Florentine and the Municipality of Florence have made a small step forward in their relations between them.
A meeting to talk about capacity and to start a dialogue again, is what took place between the purple director, Alessandro Ferrari and that of Palazzo Vecchio, Giacomo Parenti who met on Tuesday at the old ‘campini’. The news was broken this morning by Corriere Fiorentino.
Two issues on the table
On the table is the issue of the real capacity of the Franchi and the relocation of the away sector. The club needs to start the season ticket campaign, but without knowing the net capacity of the stadium (the gross capacity is 24 thousand seats) and where the away sector will be located, it cannot do so. On this last point, the most probable hypothesis is to create a mini guest sector (with 500 seats, thanks to the League’s exemption) in Maratona.
A meeting at the police station
