(Agen Food) – Montafalco (PG), 27 June. – The June 28th in Mantuaat the Bibiena Scientific Theatre, the Arnaldo Caprai agricultural company will be among the protagonists of the 2024 edition of the Symbola Foundation Summer Seminarwhich this year will have as theme “We are the times”.

A motto extrapolated from the famous phrase of Saint Augustine – “These are bad times, say men. Let them live well and times will be good. We are the times” – and chosen to recall our responsibilities, the cultural, economic and social choices we must make, to face the crises before us: climate, demographic, energy and geopolitics.

The Summer Seminar will be an opportunity to give visibility and representation to the many institutional, entrepreneurial and social realities that with their commitment demonstrate that it is possible to build better times.

Among these also the Umbrian winery led by Marco Caprai, who will be awarded the “Cohesion is Competition” Award for his commitment to political refugees, which has already earned Caprai the title of Officer of Merit of the Italian Republic and the company the “Welcome. Working for refugee integration”, awarded byUNHCR, the UN High Commissioner for Refugeesfor its commitment to promoting inclusion.

In the years, Caprai’s company has focused heavily on inclusion, giving work to more than 200 political asylum seekers, thus promoting their integration into our country and into the social fabric of Montefalco, in the Perugia area. An integration, the one promoted by Caprai, which turned out to be successful: 60% of the migrants then remained to work permanently at the company.

The awards ceremony will be preceded by an important moment of discussion in which, among others, will be present: Ermete Realacci (president of the Symbola Foundation), Gian Maria Gros-Pietro (president of Intesa Sanpaolo), Giuseppe Tripoli (General Secretary of Unioncamere), Nando Pagnoncelli (president and CEO of Ipsos Italia), Simone Gamberini (president of Legacoop), Nicola Lanzetta (Enel group Italy director), Vanessa Pallucchi (National Forum spokesperson) e Vincenzo Boccia (president Luiss School of Government).
