Sanremo. The cultural meeting, which arose from an idea of ​​Marco Mauro, vice-president of Esprit, to which the entire management of the association enthusiastically joined, took place in the splendid hall of Palazzo Roverizio in Sanremo. The public was involved in a journey through the Sanremo that they love most, seen by some of its illustrious children or admirers, who through pages, lyrics, images and music wanted to eternalize the spirit of a place where everything is possible, it happened and it will happen.

The event was opened and closed by maestro Marco Reghezza with his orchestra who created “The Hymn to Sanremo” on the words of Alberto Nota, interpreted by the powerful, harmonious and decisive voice of the soprano Gabriella Carioli, accompanied by Marina Giribaldi, at flute, Alessandro Barlucchi on clarinet, on violins: Volodymyr Baran, Salvatore Burgio, Nicolò De Stefani, Matteo Scatti, Matteo Florio, Laura Bosso. Cecilia Borelli on cello, Mauro Demoro on double bass, Tiziana Zunino on piano.

They did not spare themselves and received the approval of the spectators Gianni Modena in “Sanremu a bretiu” and Elio Marchese and Elena Marchese in Sanremesi alla bulk, they proposed a combination of memories, lyrics, songs that will bring back the feeling of Esprit like a breath of wind cultural that has always crossed the Riviera di Ponente. Speakers included Luigi Marino, who brought the greetings of Esprit, Vincenzo Farina and Alessio Rossi in some readings which recalled the lives of the illustrious Sanremo people of whom some passages and lyrics were read.
