The centenary celebration of ASD Porretta 1924 will take place from tomorrow to June 30th in Valverde, just south of the town center of Porretta Terme. All the facilities of the sports complex managed by the Monti Salute Più group will be open to free entry for the entire duration of the event, starting with the swimming pool where we will celebrate until late at night.

“The location of Valverde seemed ideal to us to welcome all our guests – begins Ilario Corsini, vice president of Porretta –. Of course we are a little sorry to move away from the fields but we will return soon, probably already at the end of August, for a further celebratory moment. We are thinking of a photographic exhibition that retraces the most important moments in the history of Porretta football”. The opening of the food stands is set for 6pm tomorrow, followed by a 70/80 disco & 90/20 house evening starting at 10.30pm. The following day, Saturday 29 June at 5pm, a match between old glories will be played at the Cesare Sabattini sports field: the former rossoblù players will be challenged by a representative of former Apennine footballers. From 6pm, again at the Valverde complex, opening of food stands followed by live TV coverage of the round of 16 of the European Football Championship. From 10.30pm, in the swimming pool, the evening continues with the young musicians “the occasionals”. On Sunday the food stands open at 12pm, at 9pm the round of 16 of the European football championships and, from 10.30pm, DJ Aka Zannafree evening. “Our main objective is to restructure the youth sector, the real driving force of the club. The kids come first – reiterates the vice-president –. Then, of course, we are also aiming for the first team: we have already chosen the new coach, Andrea Petroni who knows the environment well.”
