Motorola has just presented the new ones Razr 50 And Razr 50 Ultrasmartphones foldable of new generations that focus everything on large and borderless external displays, bright colors and artificial intelligence — here are prices and specifications.

Let’s start with the Ultra model, the most innovative device. Razr 50 Ultra It sports a large external display 4 inches, the largest in the industry, with 165 Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution. Inside we find a panel 6.9″ pOLED with the same specifications.

Under the body beats the mighty Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, supported by 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The photographic sector sees a 50 MP dual cam with 2x optical zoom and a 32 MP selfie cam. The battery is 4000 mAh with 45W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.

The younger brother Razr 50 it is no different, with a 3.6″ external display, MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor, 50 MP main camera and 4200 mAh battery. Both models are IPX8 certified for water resistance.

The real novelty of the Razr 50 is the deep integration of theartificial intelligence. Thanks to features like Magic Compose and Photomoji, it will be possible to generate replies to messages and transform photos into personalized emojis. There is no shortage of customization options such as Moto AI, which creates wallpapers to match your outfit, and a dedicated voice assistant accessible from the external display. Last but not least, three months of subscription to Google One AI Premium.

Price and availability

The new Razr 50 will be available in Italy at starting from €899 for the basic model and €1199 for the Ultra. Four colors to choose from, from sober Midnight Blue to the flashy Hot Pink. And if you buy this summer, there are several promotions:

• From today, June 25, 2024 until July 31 Razr 50 Ultra and Moto Buds+ will be available together at a special price.
• The promo will be active “Protected Display“: those who purchase the new razr 50 ultra from 25 June 2024 to 31 July 2024 will be entitled to one year of free protection for the screens which can be activated on the Motorola.it website, on the dedicated page.
