Lake Garda continues to rise. In the last few hours, in fact – according to official data from the Lake Regulatory Authority – Benaco has reached 145.8 centimeters above the hydrometric zero (at the detection point of Peschiera del Garda). A good centimeter and a half more than yesterday.
What is of particular concern is the difference between incoming and outgoing water. The first value, in fact, shows no signs of decreasing and in the last few hours has reached 204.4 cubic meters per second. Downstream, in Salionze, only 170 flow out in the same time frame. In short, the balance is positive by 34.4 meters per second and the waters of Benaco (107.9% filling) continue to rise.
The hope is that no new rains will occur in the next few hours, which could lead to inconvenience and flooding like those of recent days.
