Genoa. The Ecoforum Rifiuti is back, the campaign organized by Legambiente Liguria which every year takes stock, together with local administrators, entrepreneurs, citizens and third sector associations, on waste management and circular economy in our region.
The appointment is for Thursday 27 June at Space 4 Business in the Aula Sen in via Brigata Bisagno 2/25 Genoa when, starting from 9.00, the issues related to the circular economy in Liguria will be explored in depth with a specific focus on the problems relating to waste and waste collection, the Waste Free Municipalities will be rewarded, i.e. those which have reached and exceeded 65% of separated waste collection and are below 75kg/inhabitant/year for undifferentiated waste produced.
Speakers will include, among others: Stefano Bigliazzi, president of Legambiente Liguria, Alice Micchini, vice-president of Legambiente Liguria, Stefano Sarti, vice-president of Legambiente Liguria, Federico Borromeo, director of the regional association and Giorgio Zampetti, national director of Legambiente.
The latest video stories shot as part of the Ecoforum Tour created by Ugo Roffi will also be presented.
Among the good practices reported is that of the Swap parties organized by the Circolo Legambiente Polis which have the aim of raising participants’ awareness of the environmental impact of fast fashion, i.e. disposable fashion, which due to the excessive consumption of natural resources, is putting the planet at risk.
How a Swap Party takes place and what the objectives are to be achieved is the subject of the first video story – published on Legambiente’s social networks today.
While the following one, filmed in the La Spezia villages of Casté and Riccò del Golfo, tells of the commitment of the administration and citizens who in just a few years managed to go from the bottom to the top of the regional classification in separate waste collection. The second video clip will be published on Thursday 27 June.
